Form/Chair that I built as a warm-up exercise, gave me inspiration for Sensvoid's.

This foot rest was added in at the last minute because I didn't have any other idea to make the chair stable. But it ended up being very useful: it keeps the whole chair from falling; it could be used as a handle while moving the chair around; and I've noticed that people, including myself, liked to put their foot on it while sitting down.

I've decided to put a tilt on the back rest because I thought that it could be hazardous without the tilt. They might accidentally hit their head on it, or scratch their back while they are using the chair. It also turned out to be useful while moving the chair around.
